Florida car accident leaves 5 dead and 2 children injured

A serious crash in Clay County has left five people dead and two children in a local hospital, according to local news. Florida authorities responded to the two-car accident on June 15. So far, police have not determined exactly what caused the car accident, but their investigation is continuing in the wake of this terrible tragedy. 

Florida car accident kills 1

One woman is dead and another man is suffering from critical injuries following a serious car crash on U.S. 301, according to local sources. Florida emergency crews responded to the car accident around 10:30 a.m. on June 1. Although it has been suggested that speed was a factor in the crash, so far no charges have been filed against either driver involved. 

1 dead, 4 injured in Florida rollover car accident

A serious single-vehicle crash has claimed the life of one individual and sent four more to local hospitals, according to local law enforcement. Florida Highway Patrol responded to the rollover car accident in the afternoon of May 21. The driver has not been charged with a crime at this time, but authorities have indicated their investigation is still underway. 

Florida woman found guilty in fatal car accident

The woman who famously tweeted "2 Drunk 2 Care" before causing a fatal car crash that sent two young women to the morgue was sentenced to 24 years in prison, according to local sources. The now-22-year-old woman pleaded guilty to two counts of DUI manslaughter in a Florida court in February in connection with the November 2013 car accident that killed two 21-year-old women. The sentence was handed down on May 4. 

Florida woman dead following pedestrian-related car accident

Florida Highway Patrol has announced that one person was killed and another injured in a serious car crash on Immokalee Road early in the morning of April 25. Florida authorities responded to the car accident that claimed the life of a 60-year-old woman and sent a 28-year-old pedestrian to the hospital. Charges have not been filed in relation to this case as of this writing. 

Car accident in Florida kills 1 man

One person has died following a large car crash involving two 18-wheelers, according to local sources. Florida police responded to the major car accident, which occurred on Interstate 75 around 4 a.m. the morning of April 12. The deceased man's name has not been released pending notification of his family, and so far no charges have been filed in connection with the case. 

Horrific car accident in Florida leaves 8 dead

Police are still investigating how a church van full of parishioners ended up in a canal early on March 30. Florida authorities responded to the single-car accident that left eight people tragically dead and another 10 in local hospitals. As the driver is among the deceased, it is unlikely criminal charges will be filed in this case, though legal action may still be taken. 

Woman killed, husband injured in Florida car accident

A serious crash has left one woman dead and her husband in critical condition, according to local sources. The four-car accident that killed the 63-year-old retired schoolteacher also seriously injured several other people. The driver of the vehicle believed to have precipitated the accident does not appear to have been charged as of this report, but further details have yet to be communicated by the Florida Highway Patrol. 

Man and dog killed in Florida motor vehicle collision

A traumatic crash killed one man and a dog that was in his car and sent his passenger and two other individuals to the hospital. The motor vehicle collision happened on Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys on Feb. 25, according to local sources. This was the third fatality to be attributed to a car accident this year in that area of Florida. 

Tourist killed in car accident in Florida

An Irish tourist has been tragically killed in a hit-and-run, according to local news sources. Florida authorities have not clarified whether the man's family in Ireland has been informed of the car accident that killed the 36-year-old man in the early morning hours of Feb. 7. However, the driver deemed responsible is now in police custody awaiting trial.
