Alleged drunk driver crashes into building and kills woman

Driving while under the influence of alcohol is a problem that continues to plague the state of Florida. Fatal accident blamed on drunk driver

Recently in Sarasota, an alleged intoxicated driver caused an accident that killed one person and injured severalothers. The accident happened a little before midnight in the 3100 block of Courtland Street. According to police reports, the driver of a car drove off the road and crashed into a garage. Reportedly, there were six women in the garage at the time of the crash.

Tragically, authorities said one of the women lost her life in the accident. Three other women were taken to a local hospital with injuries, reports said. Police arrested the driver and charged him with vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter, no valid driver’s license resulting in death and other serious charges.
