Most Florida motorists know that they will likely encounter tractor-trailers anytime they venture out onto major highways and interstates here, but this does not make these massive trucks any less intimidating. Details of recent truck accident

Recently near Tallahassee, a driver was injured after a tractor-trailer crashed into his pickup truck and overturned. The accident happened during the morning hours along the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near mile marker 198. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of a tractor-trailer veered out of the travel lane and struck a pickup truck on the shoulder of the roadway.

Reportedly, the tractor-trailer was hauling several vehicles which spilled off the truck in the collision. Authorities said the driver of the pickup truck was seriously injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured. The crash took several hours to clear and is currently being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
