Deadly crash caused by drunk driver
Recently in Orlando, an alleged drunk driver reportedly caused a deadly crash that killed a father and son who were there for college orientation. The accident happened at the intersection of Lake Underhill Road and Rouse Road near the University of Central Florida. According to police reports, an intoxicated driver ran a red light at the intersection and slammed into the family’s vehicle, causing it to flip over.
Tragically, the father and son were killed. Police said the driver who hit them has been arrested for DUI three times in the last 10 years. For this incident, the driver was charged with two counts of manslaughter, two counts of homicide, DUI and other serious charges.
